Our very own Pecore Negroni featured on the ‘Best Cocktails for 2015′ on Mans World!

Vikram Achanta, owners of India’s pioneering and most authoritative website Tulleho.com,  recently visited the Black Sheep Bistro and loved our ‘Pecore Negroni’ .

He was kind enough to mention it again on Man’s World’s ‘The Best Cocktails for 2015′.

Here’s the recipe:

Pecore Negroni

Ingredients
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth (Martini Rosso)
1 oz “Cazulo” — a copper pot double-distilled Goan coconut feni, which is used instead of gin
3-4 drops of cashew feni infused with orange

Method
Stirred on ice in a rock glass, with a flamed orange peel

Goa Streets tells you what to do and where to go this summer!

Its summer time and Goa is bringing down the heat. But Goa Streets has done us all a favor with this cool, curated list of places to visit and things to do in the summer in Goa.

Our chilled sangria’s and refreshing cocktails made the list!

An excerpt from the article says ‘ The Black Sheep Bistro’ is a perennial favourite. With its pitchers of reasonably priced sangria and cool cocktails like the Dill Fling, it’s always a cool spot to stop in at, and we’re not talking about the AC section alone. Livemint features us yet again, in their list of 80 best dishes from around the country.

We’re glad our Inspired Chorizo Pav and Pistachio Kheer Sandwich could make it among some of the most authentic, contemporary cuisines and dishes from all around India.

We can’t wait to come up with more amazing delicacies, coming straight from the freshest of local produce in Goa!

We recently mentioned Vikram Achanta’s warm visit to The BSB. He loved the ‘Pecore Negroni’ that we whipped up for him and thought to mention us in his article on India’s best bars on Man’s World!

Travelling Ides of March makes a stop at The BSB!

Fellow traveler and blogger Amrita Das (Travelling Ides of March)  found The Black Sheep Bistro to be a refreshing change! She loved the Crispy Vellyo and Asian style Rice Bowl, and absolutely swears by the  chocolate lava cake!

Amrita loved our laid back atmosphere saying, “Centrally located, this restaurant has impressive décor with a bar and low-seated couches alike. Whether you want to lounge or stop by for a quick drink, this works as an ideal place for both.

The food at BSB is different and quite honestly, was a refreshing change for me. My appetite has been quite over saturated by the Goan fish curry and other delicacies from the state and the continental-oriental mix of food here totally worked for me.”

We were unfortunately unable to serve alcohol since it was a dry day, but we’d love to have you back for a chilled glass of Sangria!
