Sabreen and Prahlad Sukhtankar graduated from Les-Roches, Switzerland and have been in the business of hospitality that led them through management ranks globally across Europe and North America before returning to India after 14 years.
Prahlad studied wine while in Vancouver and what began as a hobby, soon became a serious passion. Today Prahlad is one of a handful of sommeliers of wines and spirits in India, accredited by The International Sommelier Guild.
Sabreen and Prahlad not only view hospitality as their profession but a driving force behind their lives where they enjoy spending their private time exploring cuisines and cultures around the world. "You can tell a lot about a culture through their food" says Sabreen "and no where can you find a culture more vibrant than India. And that is not an observation made through interaction with people, rather our food" adds Sabreen.
You can stop by The Black Sheep Bistro where you can find the couple on hand to share their enthusiasm and passion of food and wine. When not at work, Sabreen and Prahlad can be found coffee in hand, visiting local markets for inspiration or running along the coast of Miramar beach.
